Internationally renowned music and sound practitioners take you through a transformative journey of healing with Tibetan singing bowls (300-600 years old), bells, chimes and song. Jahna, is a UCLA certified mindfulness coach, musician, and voice artist. Michael is a Master Tibetan Singing Bowl artist and award winning sound director for film and television. They are composers, co-writers and co-producers of award winning 360 immersive film, “The Journey” which won The Audience Choice Award at DomeFestWest and chosen as the official selection for seven International Film Festivals in Germany, Canada, US and Australia.

Meditation

Fernando Escobar began his spiritual journey after a powerful experience where he led to his teacher and Guru, Mark Griffin. Mark gave him teachings of yoga while he underwent the involution process that occurs through meditation. He dedicated the next 13 years to learn and grow until his teacher passed in October 2018. He believes that meditation is the source for all healing because all healing occurs when you sit down and put your physical and mental activities on pause on a regular basis. In addition to teaching mediation, Fernando has spent the past 20 years healing through massage therapy, acupuncture and sports medicine. Crystals Workshop with Becky Phillips

Becky has been a crystal and mineral speciment dealer for over 20 years. She has also been a Reiki Master for 20 years and a practitioner of traditional astrology for 3 years.

In this workshop she will discuss a general introduction to crystals, including the benefits of specific crystals and how to use a master crystal. She will show you how to cleanse and program them, and will do a crystal chakra demonstration.

Healing with Horses with Kiki Ebsen

Spending time with horses can truly be a transformative experience for one's overall well-being. Journaling with Alison Unga from UThrive Wellness

Inspired by the Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron we will be exploring stream-of-consciousness writing, also known as morning pages, one of my favorite practices in opening up the creative flow inside of us. We will also be introducing mindful meditation, gratitude practices, self-love, and self-confidence exploration through journal prompts and affirmation work. The act of journaling can provide a safe space to express your teen's inner most feelings and emotions while achieving a sense of calm, clarity and renewed vision. The workshop will begin with a guided meditation, followed by journaling practices, and concluding with a sharing circle.

How to Make A Herbal Tincture

Join us for a hands on workshop where you will learn how to make a beneficial oxymel (honey tincture) that supports the nervous system. If you are a teen or young adult experiencing stress, anxiety or depression, please join us. This event will provide all the materials to craft your own personalized oxymel blend to nourish your nervous system which can lead to improved mental and emotional well-being, reduced anxiety, improved mood, better physical health, improved sleep quality and increased ability to focus and concentrate.

Nicole Foos started her career as a litigator which she did for fourteen years. She then left law and started her event planning business which she had for another ten years. Her search for creativity continued. She learned about crystals and founded NVision by Nicole Foos. She makes crystal Power Pieces with metal and has developed a number of other pieces such as earrings, pendants and chains. 

In an effort to delve deeper into learning about crystals, she earned her Crystal Healing Certification; this led to a broader interest in the healing arts. She is a certified Reiki Master; certified in a Pranayama Yoga healing breathing meditation technique, Yoga Therapy, Tarot card reading and is an Avurvedic Health Counselor. She is currently in the process of working toward a certification in Aromatherapy.

Improv workshop for teens with Kara Jobe (Venue: 7811 Gallery)

In this fun, supportive improv class, students will build confidence through creativity and play. Kara will lead kids through games and exercises designed to connect them to their authentic selves, stay present, and shine their inner light. Whether you are new to acting or have some experience, this class offers a joyful space to explore, express, and grow.

Kara Jobe has over 18 years of improv experience and holds a BFA in Acting. She has directed children’s theater with a focus on making sure every child feels seen and important, and has performed in national commercials as well as an HBO series.

Learn about healing plants and repair a garden bed

Date: October 26, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 pm

Venue: The Learning Garden (13000 Venice Blvd)

We will begin with a tour through the garden learning about specific plants that support the nervous system such as lavender, lemon balm, and Tulsi to name a few. 

As the second part of the workshop, we will repair a garden bed (on the ancestral land of Tongva people) with us by sowing winter wheat — a 280-day crop that takes nearly nine months to mature, symbolizing patience, rhythm, and regeneration in farming. Unlike quick seasonal plantings, winter wheat endures through the cooler months, strengthening the soil and nourishing the ecosystem before harvest. It’s a living lesson in the long game of regenerative agriculture.

Join us for a hands-on afternoon as we perpetuate this ancient crop cycle and prepare the soil for another season of growth and learning.
