    Dr. Priya, a clinical Doctor of Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine (DAOM) from Emperor's College, holds both California and National Board Licenses (NCCAOM). She seamlessly integrates Eastern and Western medicine, offering integrative acupuncture alongside functional blood analysis, herbology, nutritional supplements, and essential oil therapies.

    Specializing in orthopedics and internal medicine, her expertise covers cardiology, immunology, women's health, and pediatrics. Dr. Priya is dedicated to making comprehensive healthcare accessible and affordable for all her patients.

    Indru Advani

    TREASURER

    Indru Advani graduated from Ahmedabad, India with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his MBA from Rosary College in Chicago and his Master's Degree in Computer Science from DePaul University in Chicago. He worked in a corporate environment for both CNA Insurance and Allstate for many years. For over a decade, he owned and operated his own consulting company in Chicago.

    He enjoys exercising and staying healthy. His favourite activities are spending time with his wife, daughter and grand-daughter.

    Donnielle James

    SECRETARY

    Donnielle shifted from social work and mental health, specializing in addiction and PTSD, to embrace holistic well-being. With an MA in Psychology from Pepperdine, and a background in classical ballet, she became certified in Pilates, Reiki, and Gyrokinesis.

    Since 1998, she's blended movement, service, and personal growth in her healing arts career, teaching therapeutic Pilates in Los Angeles. In 2009, she founded Balance from Within, offering Pilates and wellness coaching. As a licensed acupuncturist, she now treats reproductive health, pain, depression, insomnia, allergies, and provides lifestyle balancing.

    Dr Fareen Koorjee

    Medical Programs

    Dr. Fareen Koorjee, an honors graduate in Nutrition from the University of British Columbia, earned her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine.

    Passionate about empowering women's health, Dr. Koorjee specializes in issues unique to, or more prevalent in, women. As Director of the Woman's Clinic at the Medical Institute of Integrative Wellness, she strives to provide exceptional care through all life's transitions. Her mission is to inspire holistic health through education, fostering positive change and personal growth in every woman she serves.

    Deborah Blum

    Programs and Outreach

    Deborah F. Blum is a versatile artist, gallery director, curator, educator, and documentary filmmaker. A graduate of UCLA and the Waldorf Institute, she taught at Waldorf schools, even helping register one in Nairobi, Kenya. Her global experiences include volunteering on a Kibbutz in Israel and painting murals in Mexico.

    Returning to Los Angeles, Deborah founded the Kids Art Club and continued her artistic pursuits. In 2023, she co-founded 7811 Gallery, a community hub for local artists, workshops, and healing events.

    Driven by a passion for mental health, Deborah now dedicates herself to improving teen healing resources in Los Angeles, inspired by personal tragedy. She recently completed a documentary about her family history and also volunteers with JQ International.

    Alison holds a master's degree in Child Psychology and School Counseling, Additionally, she has had extensive studies in Art Therapy and holds certificates in Mindfulness and Meditation. Reiki, Yoga, and Sound Healing. Her interests are reflected in her non-profit, Uthrive Wellness Inc. which focuses on mental health and self-awareness. Alison as a parent and educator shares through her life experiences her love for wellbeing, mindfulness, and self-love. She is passionate about helping children discover their inner values thus providing them with the skills and understanding to lead a life of happiness, joy, and peace. Adults have been drawn to her as they seek inner peace, self-love, and freedom to express themselves in new ways.

    Janet Hudson Hagan believes marketing should serve a mission, not just a metric. As founder of Social Deviants, she helps authors, music artists, and changemakers cut through the noise with purpose, not performance. She created UTOPiAcon, a first-of-its-kind indie writers’ conference that championed voices like Jennifer L. Armentrout and Rebecca Yarros. With clients that have included Elle magazine, Jen Sincero (You Are A Badass), and the bold nonprofit Seva With Love, Janet brings strategy and soul to every project. Her true devotion lies in community, creativity, and cause—amplifying what matters, one story, one spark, and one revelation at a time.

    Anne Marie Fox

    Photographer

    Anne Marie Fox, an English Literature and Film Studies graduate from Columbia University, honed her photography skills under Brigitte Lacombe in NYC and Paris, and with Nan Goldin at the International Center of Photography.

    She's collaborated with acclaimed directors like Robert Altman, Kenneth Branaugh, and Lee Daniels. Originally from Santa Monica, CA, Anne Marie has lived and worked across Europe, including the Czech Republic, Italy, and England. Her passions include landscape and architectural photography, film and travel photojournalism, screenwriting, and blogging. Anne Marie is a proud member of the IATSE Local 600 Cinematographers Guild.
